Ignite Branch Out With New Partnership

IGNITE PR & Engagement is delighted to announce it has won a contract to work with the amazing Ashdown Forest in the heart of East Sussex.

Directors Beverley Thompson and Peter Lindsey will be working with the team on the exciting new vision for the forest to be released shortly.

They will also be generating publicity and increased awareness for the forest, well known for being the setting of AA Milne's Winnie The Pooh books.

Milne lived on the northern edge of the forest and took his son Christopher Robin walking there.

Author AA Milne wrote the books while in the forest, and perhaps the best known of the Pooh locations is Poohsticks Bridge.

Bev said: "We are both thrilled to have won this contract to be working on the public relations for Ashdown Forest.

"What an incredible place area of open heathland and forest. I absolutely love it being a keen horse rider and dog owner."

Ashdown Forest is indeed a special area. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, a Special Protection Area for birds and a Special Area of Conservation for its heathland habitats.

Peter said: "We cannot wait to get started on this new exciting venture. There is so much to be done, and so much to be told about this wonderful forest full of inspiration."

Ignite PRE was set up in 2019 by Bev, a former BBC correspondent, and Peter, a newspaper and magazine editor for 25 years.
