Beverley Thompson
Beverley is a hugely experienced broadcast journalist and presenter. She started her career in newspapers before moving to the BBC where a twenty year career including working for BBC Breakfast, BBC World TV, Radio 4 Women’s hour and regional television. She has a reputation for making a positive impact particularly through her work with corporate films and media training. Beverley has extensive knowledge of tv and radio, hosting and presenting at events and scripting and voice overs.
She is an expert in community engagement – ensuring that businesses get the best out of their charity and local partnerships. Beverley is a member of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS), Institute of Fundraising (IoF), Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and the National Union of Journalists (NUJ).
In her spare time she can be found at the stables with the love of her life – Guinness – a 16.2 horse! Whoa!!!
Peter Lindsey
Peter spent more than 20 years as editor of regional newspapers throughout the south east. He then turned his attentions to PR and crisis communications. His clients included: Hastings Direct, Lion Hotels, Eastbourne Pier, local schools, academies, charities and high profile community projects.
Passionate about giving back to journalism, Peter devoted five years to training journalists at local colleges and universities. He has most recently worked for a major media group in both print and online.
Away from the office Peter is chairman of a multi academy trust in Sussex and as a stickler for fair play he is frequently to be found dishing out red cards on a soccer pitch…C’mon Ref!
