Chaseley Trust

When The Chaseley Trust was planning its 70th birthday, it turned to Ignite to plan and deliver the celebrations. Chaseley cares for people with severe physical disabilities with residential, respite, day care and therapy at its centre in Eastbourne.

Former Chief Executive Lesley Standing wanted to seize the opportunity to raise its profile within East Sussex. As a result, three major events were planned: an afternoon tea party, black tie dinner and an art exhibition displaying the residents' amazing work.

Ignite's Peter Lindsey said: "We wanted to involve everyone, right from the Mayors and MPs to service users to their families and supporters.

We also used the afternoon tea party as an opportunity to engage with the neighbours of Chaseley, in the Meads area of Eastbourne. All three events were a great success and have helped Chaseley as it moves forward in the next stage of its development. It was an absolute pleasure to work with such lovely people and to see the amazing outcomes for the charity."

Lesley Standing said: "Our celebrations were a huge success and it was great working with Peter."

“Beverley stepped in to act as Master of Ceremonies at our fundraising Musical Concert at very short notice. Beverley took the time to get to know the Charity before the event, liaised with me on the content and went through everything one final time before the event. At the concert, Beverley was professional, kept the programme running smoothly in spite of a very tight timescale, and added the right degree of emotion to our appeal for funds. I found Beverley very professional, a warm and generous person and would enthusiastically recommend Beverley as a host to anyone looking to work with her”.
